The entire Township residents have been left to pay millions in lost revenue, so far, from the Colgan development.
Below is an example of a deputation made by a resident of Colgan asking for documents, minutes of meetings when the financials were approved, none of her questions were answered. Many residents from Colgan have made it to council meetings to make deputations and spoke up at council meetings to get answers on the financials for Colgan. However, they were ignored by Scott Anderson and Council. As usual Bob Meadows was one of the councillors who repeatedly raised concerns with the high water and wastewater rates and the repayment of the water and wastewater debt to residents on private wells and septic systems. Speaking up for residents got Bob Meadows thrown out from the council meeting by Mayor Scott Anderson, as Bob Meadows caught Deputy Mayor Julius Lachs and Mayor Scott Anderson breaking the laws, as usual Scott Anderson tried to put the blame on Bob Meadows stating that Bob Meadows disobeyed Mayor Scott Anderson and the decision and authority of Mayor Scott Anderson (the audio recordings are under Everett development audio recordings) This is proof of what happens to councillors who council speak up for residents. Had the past and current Council and current Mayor Scott Anderson followed the laws with the Colgan financials a large portion of the water debt would have been paid off that would result in substantially lower water rates.
Today, all residents in the township are paying the price because of the deliberate negligence on the part of the past 4 councillors and current Mayor Scott Anderson who approved the Colgan subdivision agreement without all documents and financials. The current majority of council was also negligent as they voted to remove the hold on the Colgan development without checking if all the financials were in order as per the land tribunal decision. All the current council were informed of the financial concerns as my email with the financial concerns were sent to all on current council. The emails are all under the Colgan financials link.

While the Township and Mayor Scott Anderson says there is enough water in Colgan the Township engineer John Thompson who approved the Colgan development has now informed council as stated by Councillor Anub Simson below “when a proposal to add 4 additional homes in the colgan settlement area, we were informed by our consultant (John Thompson) that there may not be capacity for those homes on the water system and wastewater treatment facility (read page 4 of councillor Anub Simson post marked in red). Now, the same engineer who approved the Colgan Development has confirmed what Bob Meadows and I have always stated, “there may not be enough water and wastewater capacity in Colgan”. So, now the 4 councillors Annette Bays, Scott Anderson, Deborah Hall Chancey aka Deborah Hall and Jonathan Pita can let the residents know who was providing “Lies and misinformation” to the residents.
The first document below “deputation” is what the resident from Colgan provided to the township to be attached to the Township agenda. The deputation contained my email and her questions at the bottom of the email.

If the mayor and council have nothing to hide then why was my email not added to the agenda? The resident when making her deputation again handed out copies of my email to all on council but she got no written reply to her questions. As usual councillor Bob Meadows was the only one who asked Mayor Scott Anderson why is my email not being addressed with all supporting minutes of the meetings showing all the detail financials were approved by past council. Scott Anderson was the one who petitioned the meeting to approve the subdivision agreement so he should have all the answers.
Council did reply through a staff report attached link below “Colgan subdivision services review” but the staff report talked about everything else but did not answer any of the questions the resident asked in her deputation.
